WHO WE ARE



LOVE JESUS // LOVE PEOPLE // LOVE BELFAST



These are the three foundations that descibe what UniChurch Belfast is all about. We desire to see lives transformed through Jesus Christ to the glory of God right across this city, nation and planet. Although only founded in 2018, UniChurch Belfast follows the long tradition of faithful biblical teaching that has been happening at All Saints' Church, Belfast for hundreds of years. If you happen to be around on a Sunday morning, definately check them out (they meet on the same site as UniChurch).


There is a strong team behind UniChurch including two full time pastors, a leadership team (part-time and voluntary as well as a team of interns each year. If you would like to join the team drop us a line using the contact form at the bottom of this page.



TREVOR JOHNSTON



Pastor





Trevor has served in a variety of ministry contexts, most recently as Ireland Team Leader for BCMS Crosslinks for five years. Following his ordination, he worked in St Nicholas' Carrickfergus, St Patrick's Jordanstown and as Chaplin in the University of Ulster, Jordanstown. He is married to Joy, and they have five kids: Emily, Lucy, Ruby, Molly and Tom.

PETER BLAIR



Assistant Pastor





Peter became a Christian in his late teens, when he realised that Jesus' work on the cross provided everything he needed to be made right with God. Before joining All Saints' as a Curate, he served as a Ministry Apprentice here, before studying at Moore College in Sydney, Australia. Alongside preaching and teaching the Bible, he leads the Ministry Training at All Saints. He is married to Jodie, and has one son, Sam.

Emma Rutter



Women's Minister, Internationals, & Trevor's PA



Emma has been a Christian since she was a young girl. She studied Modern and Medieval Languages at university and was greatly impacted as a student by the faithful Bible-teaching ministry of her church in Cambridge. She has worked in different contexts in France and Spain, and worked for a church in England before coming back to Belfast to study on the Cornhill Training Course. She oversees our ministry to women and international students, and can often be found browsing a second-hand bookshop or searching for the best baguette in Belfast.

Caitlin Davidson



Kids Minister & Admin



Caitlin studied law at university, and served as a ministry apprentice before becoming our administrator and children’s worker- she loves seeing kids learn about the gospel and understand how significant the work of Jesus is for their lives. From the North Coast originally, she is married to Jamie, and enjoys hiking, swimming, watching and talking about most sports (especially football, cricket and F1).

Matty Burke



Youth Minister



Matty studied Theology at Union College, Belfast, and served as a Ministry Apprentice before becoming our Youth Minister. When he's not teaching young people about Jesus, you'll find him playing with his band, Anna's Number, or writing and producing his own music.

Peter Reid



Ministry Apprentice



Peter is originally from Ardstraw, a small village in West Tyrone. He studied Maths at QUB before beginning a ministry apprenticeship in the summer of 2021. He is passionate about seeing the gospel spread across Belfast and is excited to be involved in the various ministries in ASC. In his spare time, he likes to read, play snooker, and drink red BPM.

Caleb is from Portadown and has just graduated from Queens with a degree in Biomedical Science. He’s excited to see how God moves over this coming year through His church.

Sarah Henry



Ministry Apprentice



Sarah was born and raised in the mighty city of Magherafelt and became a Christian at a young age. During her French and Spanish degree at Queen’s, she spent some time serving with Operation Mobilisation in a small church in Barcelona. Sarah is looking forward to sharing God’s gospel with others and getting involved in ministry with internationals, and 1 to 1 bible studies. In her free time, she likes to read, listen to country music, and eat ice-cream.
